I didn't have a emotional experience with it though, I liked the characters and the insane love for the beatles! I wish we could've seen more of a romantic subplot or more flash backs between Joe and Carly but it was such a heartbreaking story

I have mixed reviews, I liked the concept and everyone was telling me how this is the original enemies to lovers but unfortunately it kinda fell flat. I loved Elizabeth Bennett but Mr. Darcy was kinda meh for me. So happy I actually have read a classic though.

Wow, that was a ride.
I enjoyed the historical look on Brooklyn and how it dealt with important topics such as BLM and it was handled as a contemporary but it was so thought-provoking and sinister that I think I was hooked. I swear I had no idea what this was about but I saw this gorgeous cover and was literally like "Simple, a thriller, and a pretty cover? Set me up!" The writing was also so pretty and easy to follow. I'm obsessed with how fast-paced this was.
I really enjoyed this book. I loved Sydney and Theo as protagonists through out the story and watching them become friends and then more later on (add wink here) I liked how strong of a story this was and how it was very important.
Spoilers:
I do strongly think it was mislabeled though, I was recommended this after reading Verity by Colleen Hoover last year because Verity was a romantic suspense story, so was this one. There's only one steamy scene so I don't see how it is labed as a romantic thriller but still none the less. I also loved the unreliable narration when Theo just got broken up with my Kim (add eye roll here) and he drinks wine with shrimp scampi before typing up what he had learned. Someone on the laptop had access to the document and began to write something before he blacked out. You don't know if it was true or just because he felt drunk.
I was also so sad discovering what had happened to Sydney's mom and her friend Drea and then thinking Theo had something to do with it was so upsetting.

I loved this book.
I adored the characters, the banters the characters had, the pop culture references, the writing itself, everything was just perfection.I'll read anything Casey Mcquiston writes in the future.

I did not like this.
I loved the first three books but the only things I enjoyed were Rhys and Feyres pov's and I didn't really enjoy the other characters third person povs. It's rather unfortunate it's the last time we'll read from Feyre.

I actually liked this a lot, I was skeptical because it's the end of the main trilogy but I liked it. I was satisfied with what happened and I'm skeptical about the next book, the novella - "a court of frost and starlight." and I'm unsure if I'll continue on with the spin off book that's coming out soon. I don't really like Nesta all that much but Feyre is one of my favorite fantasy characters in literature.

I saved so many gorgeous quotes and I can say I very much enjoyed this story. It follows Chloe. A thirty-six year old woman who's partner unfortunately passes away and her journey going through loss, grief and finding herself.
I loved this story but some of the characters I found rude or annoying. Chloe deserves better and I was very satisfied with this story. I cried, I laughed, and wished Chloe would find happiness. So good. The story as well as the writing is so beautiful and I will definitely check out her next book when it comes out.

Wow. I always feel conflicted with three stars. I always see three stars as a solid rating. I liked the concept but I feel the execution could've been stronger. I didn't really like the characters but I wish the characters were more likable and the story was scarier. I do really love the comparison to The Blair Witch Project and Midsommar. I do recommend if you ever want something similar to these iconic films. It was such an interesting concept and I just wish it was done in a more spookier way. I liked the general atmosphere.
I really enjoyed how both elements really made an impact on the story and i'd be very interesting in reading a book from this author in the upcoming future.
I'm very thankful for Netgalley for sending me an a copy to review in exchange for an honest review.
