I am on a quest to read everything of note in Anne Carson’s bibliography, which is to say, everything. As always, Carson’s writing does not disappoint. For someone who’s an afficionada of both contemporary poetry and greek myths and plays, everything she writes fits perfectly in the niche of my interests. Antigonick did not suppress or dilute any of Antigone’s screams, just as promised.
