Good! In the same vein as Everyone on the Train is a Suspect. If you liked that, you'll like this.

The themes of plagiarism, publishing and racism were captivating but unfortunately the main character was so unlovable I found it hard to get through.  I hope for more character development but she stayed selfish and immature throughout. The plot made me want to know the ending, but the characters made that difficult.

Excellent. Listened to in almost straight through minus one night of sleep.  Has a bit of everything: romance, mystery, motherhood, organized crime.

I liked this book, but agree with other reviews that it's more of a drama, not a mystery/thriller. That being said, I finished the audio book in a couple of days.

I like how the book ended... but if you're expecting an ending like a mystery/thriller it's missing the usual plot twist and big reveal, but for a drama it felt sufficient.

I usually love character driven books but this one was pretty slow. I loved Emma's This Time Tomorrow and I recommend that book over this as it still has an emotional father daughter story and interesting plot.
