Once again, I only wanted Oberon's Meaty Mystery and only technically finished that chunk of the story. That said, it was once again a blast. I love the Druid and his wonderful hounds. Makes me want to hug a puppy.

Confession, I only read for Oberon's Meaty Mystery: The Buzz Kill and only read that novella of the book. That said, I love hanging out with the Iron Druid and his exceptional hounds again.

I love this universe and the characters. I did feel like this book didn't feel like it had a solid idea where it was going and was more a collection of little stories as opposed to one specific novel. I hope this isn't the end of the Ink & Sigil series.

I finally passed into the books I hadn't read in the first round of reading these.

Every time I pick up a T. Kingfisher book, I think, "I know what this one is going to be about" only to be completely wrong within moments. I'm always surprised and it's always better than I anticipated.

This one was deeply disturbing, but in the best way possible. I can't expound as much as I would want without spoiling everything, so I will leave it here.

This definitely feel as though Hernandez had the whole story in her head before she started. Sometimes, when reading a debut series you get the feeling that it's being made up as you go along. I think when Hernandez went on tik tok and said she had this idea and a bunch of us said I'd read that (yeah I was one of them) she had the whole idea down. I'm excited to get to book three as it's taken me far too long to get to one and two.

I think I've read too many of these old traditional anthologies and the "lessons" they teach are just obnoxious in a modern world.

Almost got half way, but after reading the first in the Forever Desert series, I can see the twist coming from a mile away. It's not as interesting as I wanted it to be.

A scavenger hunt of a story with high stakes and a super realistic and awful villain. This was the perfect sort of witch book to enjoy. I loved it beginning to end. All the characters felt interesting and fully fleshed out, even the horrible creepy witch hunter. I hope there is more in this world. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
