"coming here tonight, i had to find out."
"and if it wasn't me?"
"then i would have gone to find you."
~ ♡ 2.5/5
their banter was funny and i liked the whole premise of the anonymity. but it really wasn’t all that and i ended up liked the side characters more than the main characters lol.

for the first time ever, i understood why emily spent so much time sleeping. it was the closest you could get to death without physically dying.

although i knew where most of the plot was heading, the ending was so crazy to me i was genuinely ??? in real time. but i did feel like it was rushed and i wish we got a little more of an explanation.
but elizabeth and emily’s childhood made me sob, and we didn’t even know all of it only snippets. those poor poor girls.
im glad elizabeth met rose and formed a girl bond with someone other than emily.
this book dives into a lot of hard to read topics and is extremely triggering so PLEASE do your research as this book does NOT have a content page.

id leave my comfort zone. i had to. because thats where she was. and for her i would go anywhere.

where do i even start. this book made me cry, giggle, laugh and wear it as a hat (no literally it did). i loved not only the writing but the characters. i was so drawn to them and saw myself a lot in both of them.
jacob, was truly the sweetest man i have ever read about. the way he was and the way he acted made me want to wrap him in bubble wrap and protect him.
briana, badass woman, but also a women who needed to be nurtured and loved. she put everyone first and forgot about the most important person: herself.
this book was everything and then more. i now want to consume every piece of fiction that abby jimenez has every written.
anyway highly recommend because all these characters are so loveable even if you get angry at them for silly things (as i did, i HATE miscommunication).

"besides, she's temporary," i remind us both.
the words are bitter on my tongue.

although slow burns aren’t my favourite trope, which made me not enjoy the beginning as much. i truly do really like these characters.
this book dealt with a lot of real issues and the emotions felt so real that i teared up in spots. and i’m truly glad they both got a happy ending.
also i love isabella and had a bad feeling about * from the start, sooo lets just say im glad they met (iykyk).

"if you ask me how i'm feeling, tanya, i'm throwing open this door and hurling myself into oncoming traffic."
“one, it's locked. two, that's the passenger door. it opens onto the curb."
~ ♡ 3/5
this book confused the fuck out of me and i wanted to dnf but the story picked up around ten chapters in. still highly confused and nothing really makes sense, but the characters were cool.
i’m just so ??? like that’s my emotion right now.
