A Flame Forged in Mist by Samara Saward

Magic, deadly trials, romance, found family, and morally gray characters! This book has a touch of it all. The author is able to depict a beautiful world with an interesting magic system, but at times, I question why certain places or things were described in such details. I'm hoping it will become clearer in future books. 

The trials the prospects go through were an interesting range, and I liked that it wasn't solely focused on brute force and fighting. 

There are multiple POVs with Ever and Calyx, which gives a fun glimpse into the feelings for each other. 

This series definitely has some amazing potential, and I look forward to book two!

Holy...this book was so entertaining. I love a good dark romance with some grit to it. KL Hill knew exactly what she was doing by putting Devin, Tony, and Lena together. They chemistry is undeniable, and I so enjoyed that they just love and accept each other for who they are and bring out the beast...I mean best in one another. The plot was so good with our morally gray trio (plus a few awesome side characters) taking down the dark mafia-esque, Obsidian. I was not prepared for the ending, and I'm hanging on by a thread for book two.

Julie! Wow, wow, wow. Now it's been a hot minute since I've read a shifterverse romance, but this book had me from the start! 
Sabrina is a strong, independent, take no BS kind of woman, and I'm here for it! And Zephyr?! Whew! Not only is he fiercely protective of Sabrina and his clan, but that man is loyal and so soft for Sabrina. The romance was there but the story was also entertaining and has me waiting for the next book!

Hunter Harlow is the emotionally available man every hyper-independent woman needs in their life! Yes, he made some questionable decisions, but once he was in with Emma, he was all in. 
And Emma? Lord, did I relate to her with her need to be independent or figure things out on her own. Ain't no way a man was going to fix everything for her! Except Hunter once they both pulled it together. 
This book has the enemies to lovers vibe down along with some suspense that kept me sucked into the storyline! 
Clio, you hooked me with Citrus Cove, and I'm ready for more! 

Nailed at Home Plate by K. Iwancio

To say that devoured this book would be an understatement! I may yet be turned into a baseball fan after this one! Cadence and JT are such a great couple and it was fun to watch their story unfold. I mean who doesn't love the sound of a baseball team dancing to musical numbers. They had the perfect mix of fun and spice! I need to find a good sugar bowl...IYKYK.

And the Sillys!?! Love all of them and hope to see more of them in the next books!

Oh, WOW! Having just finished TOG, I was not excepting to love this book as much as I did! Crescent City is a diverse world with all kinds of beings and it had me hooked from the start! 
Bryce is one of my favorite FMCs right now. She's strong, brave, kind, loyal, funny...I couldn't go on. And Hunt and Ruhn?! I can't wait to read more about them! 
HOEAB has an addictive story line that kept me guessing about who was behind the murders and where the Horn was? I did not guess the villian and when that reveal happened, I was shocked and ready to watch the battle go down! 
5⭐️ for sure! #lightitup

This was such a fun, funny, sexy, and intriguing book! This is my first Settle Myer book, and it was so entertaining. 
She's built a whole world living in hiding, and the new Vampire Queen, Layla, is tasked with riding the human and monster world together. With her mates by her side, they take on many challenges to bring this about. I enjoyed the multiple POVs and it helped to bring each character to life. This book was filled with lots of laughs, danger, and sexy moments!

Chris Kingman is book boyfriend perfection! Also, I want to be Trixie with her confidence and sass! This book was so fun to read and it had me laughing so many times. The Kingman family is elite! And I can't forget about Luke Skycocker and all his shenanigans! I will definitely be reading more by Amy Award!

A Long Ride To Redemption by Shelby Storme

This book had me hooked from the start. Honestly, I had no idea that I would love an old west romantasy as much as I do now! Shelby Storme was able to blend genres together so seamlessly into an amazing story.
Her characters grew and developed during the story and proved that people aren't solely good or evil.  The FMC is so strong for her family, and the MMC would do anything for her and the kids. 
This book has a dash of everything without feeling forced. There's romance, magic, gun fights, danger, and found family. Definitely will be reading more from Shelby Storme!
