I was trying to finish it cus i was so close to the end but i was just pushing myself through it, i wasnt enjoying it.
V.E Schwab just isnt for me, the writing style is nice and i like it but characters, especially female MCs just tend to get on my nerves. The minute Lila said "why do you underestimate me? Is it because im a girl?" I had war flashbacks to the near witch and dropped the book immediately i am so not sorry
