I highly enjoyed this book! It was fast paced (although it took me a fee days to read because.. life

Okay, so this being book #2 following Read Between The Lines, was also SUPER cute! I think it could honestly pass as a stand alone book. The chemistry between Grace and Lia was great! I was hoping to see more of Jane and Rosie and see how their relationship developed, but that’s okay. I enjoyed getting to know the entire friend group and also seeing some of the more vulnerable sides of characters. Overall this was very engaging and enjoyable.

Side note: WHAT is happening to me, reading romance!?

The Butterfly Garden is book #1 in the Collector series. I was hooked from page one! The way this story is told is really unique in my eyes, it’s told once one of the victims is in FBI care after the fact. I really enjoyed that. Alongside that there were obviously going to be some time jumps as well as other points of views, however it was not hard to follow at all! The book took no time at all getting into the all the dark, twisted, and disturbing things that took place; for some readers that may be a turn off but I love that!
⚠️I will say that this book has many different opportunities to trigger someone, so here’s your trigger warning for all kinds of things including abuse. ⚠️
All the things these girls had to go through broke my heart, yet I was so intrigued!

(I’ve seen different things about this book being either #1 or #3 in a series and others say it’s not- so

This book wasn’t exactly what i expected. I don’t know what I fully expected, but this wasn’t it…maybe I went into it with my expectations too high?

Wow. This memoir had me speechless time and time again. The author allowed herself to be very vulnerable and tell her story of an abusive same sex relationship. You don’t see many LGBTQ+ abusive type stories and such, because society has always made it seem like men are the abusers. That’s not the case; men, woman, non-binary, purple, green and red people can ALL be abusers. The writing of this memoir is beautiful, sad, but enlightening for those who have not experienced it. Aside from the abuse aspect of this memoir, it also goes into what that abuse looks like with the societal expectations of a queer/LGBTQ+ relationship. It’s so great to have all of that depicted and talked about for those who may not understand all of the complexities of it.

What an emotional read this was, but SO good. It did not disappoint

WOW! *chefs kiss*

Two things; 1)I went into this story not knowing a thing! I did not even read the description beforehand. 2) I did not know what “Novellete” meant

⭐️⭐️⭐️.5- So I’d seen so many terrible reviews for this book and I’m honestly glad I didn’t listen to them fully. This book wasn’t bad! I enjoyed it and keeping in mind that it is a YA thriller, I think it lived up the YA thriller standards, heck maybe even had a sprinkle of horror. While it reads as it’s obviously aimed for younger adults, it’s easy, and the story line is very steadily paced. I enjoyed it! It was an overall fun ready for me.

This short story was a good one! The humor tied into it was great! I think the thriller and humor aspects just meshed so well together for the story line! I found myself laughing but also surprised by the way characters acted! Lol
All I could think the entire time is this serial killer is just on the loose and people are oblivious!
