I really enjoyed this.
It's not what I was expecting and I really enjoyed the world building and how shifters just are a part of humanity.
It might have been nice to explain the dynamics a bit more of Alphas and Omegas. But I suppose the story doesn't need it.

I definitely feel like this book could have another story, one of Noah's cousin who lives in the cabin... The other Alpha!

I couldn't give it 5 stars because I felt it was too obvious that Dennis was the one who turned Noah into the hospital board.

Eh, I really didn't see the fuss over this book.

Luke Brooks is this "bad boy" best friend but that's not remotely true. Nothing bad about him.

I liked that Emmy had ADHD, that was it.
Otherwise it was rather dull and lackluster.

I love a good Wolf Romantasy, and this was a strong one. I did feel that the romance was lacking a bit between the main characters 😕.

But other than that, I found the plot good.

Howling with laughter at Emelle's labour.
Summoning Jerkafh during her pushing absolutely killed me 😅.

Lovely ending for Emelle, Rakon, Syled, Evert and Okot 💘

I love the characters, the world, the adventures!

My only let down throughout this was hardly any Okot, plus, it was so obvious he wasn't himself. It bothered me that Emelle didn't pick up on it sooner. 🤷‍♀️

Wonder what the next 2 books are about (considering the tidy ending)... Definitely reading on.

I can see why this book is popular, however... I did find the writing to be a little amateurish.

The dialogue wasn't great and the paragraphs were very short and to the point, more like a bullet point story.
It was hard to get lost into the character and the world.

But I definitely enjoyed the world building and its potential!

I was rather disappointed at the slow start.
For a 400 page book, it really should've progressed a bit more.

I will say that I am utterly charmed by Cyrus and Alizeh. I wanted more interactions from them both.

But I did enjoy a few chapters, especially ones with lots of dialogue between the characters.

I definitely think Kamran can go on his merry way, he's annoying me greatly. Which I find amusing since I loved him in book 1. Plus, you can tell he and Huda have some romantic tension.

All I can say is bring on book 4 where we can finally get some Cyrus and Alizeh action.
