I love Reid, however this wasn’t my favourite. I do love Carrie, though.

Hoover is a master at making page turners, however nothing developed past the original plot line. I don’t think it was necessary to have a sequel.

I really loved this book. The importance of healing is so evident throughout the novel. It was heavy to read, but worth getting through to see the power that strength and resilience plays in trauma responses.

I have many conflicting ideas about this book. I wanted to finish it because I needed to know how it ended, but to say I would recommend it. No.

It is the best book in the series. The genuine connection Hibbert was able to create between Eve and Jacob surpasses the other novels in the series. It warmed my heart and the sex scenes were steamy and intimate. It was a wonderful light hearted romance read!

I really loved this book. I enjoy the universe that Reid is creating and it feels like Easter eggs when characters appear from her other books. June and Mick’s storyline hit a personal spot for me and so my connection to this book feels very healing, however the personal development of each character deserves a shout out. It left me wanting to read it all in one go.
A Really Good Day: How Microdosing Made a Mega Difference in My Mood, My Marriage, and My Life by Ayelet Waldman

I appreciated the amount of information I learned regarding LSD and illegal drugs. However, Waldman felt uncomfortable in her experiment and kept undermining her findings and the benefits of microdosing. Her judgement of the experiment kept me disconnected the entire read. Well researched and interesting for those who want to microdose, but not my cup of tea.

It was a cute love story. Some side characters could have been more developed, however Chloe and Red were really wonderful together. It was a satisfying and suspenseful love.

This book wasn’t a groundbreaking read, however it got me out of a reading slump. It is a page turner that concludes with a satisfying ending.
