Demon Reform Academy Term 3 by Lyra Winters

I truly love seeing the individual growth happening in the characters this term, but I especially love seeing the mate bonds strengthening in response. 

 Besides showing how strong she is, Pandora seems to be embracing her bloodthirsty side. Reed is overcoming his fears with dream travel. Hunter is really going through it but still managing to be the group's rock for stability. Skel's control over his fear magic is improving. Dex's stalker tendencies are adorable after what happened last term. Bram is learning to make and accept meaningful connections finally. 

Second term had ended in a crushing cliffhanger, but it was quickly made right in this book. The whole book seems to be darker, bloodier, and more violent, but the romance and spiciness is also popping off

Black Ties and White Lies by Kat Singleton
Did not finish book. Stopped at 59%.

I had to quit at 7 hours because the characters just got too annoying. The arguments were caused simply out of stubbornness from both sides and it was so exhausting. The cause of the car sliding out in the snow because she was freaking out and pulling on the steering wheel while he was refusing to take anyone's directions was such a cliched scene that I had to wonder if the author was secretly a guy or if she's simply a fan of dumb stereotypes
