Too dark and too BDSM, I guess? I've only read a few books with a hint of BDSM and dark romance, but I don't like reading books with the Daddy-Baby Girl relationship, particularly because I call my own father that. I also didn't feel comfortable with Jasmine's position, of being trapped and all. I did love the first smut scene, the one on the floor.

I liked the first few chapters, but shit went real quick that I started rereading from the start to make sure I didn't miss a chapter. I kinda liked Romeo, but I don't think I'll be reading Book Two.

Stopped at chapter 8. I've only read a few second chance romances, and this book is making me feel like that trope is not for me. The back-and-forth was annoying and I dislike how Jax kept kissing Joey when they haven't made up yet.
