While heists and chases are not my typical direction, I was completely enthralled the entire time. I had an inkling to the twists, but Amy still got me. I loved this work. The narrator was a little distracting at first. They sounded a little old, but the more I listened the more I became accustomed to the voice. High recommend.

This book is like if the Hunger Games met Percy Jackson. I thoroughly enjoyed the story, the diversity, the depth, and the twist of the characters. I will absolutely be reading the second one as soon as it comes out.

This book was ok at first but when the second part came in, it was hard for me to follow. The second narrator did not sound like a teenager and it kind of took me out of it. On its own or if the tree parts had been intertwined, I think it probably could have been a lot better.

This was a fun mystery that got real dark real quick. I thought I knew where the end reveal was going, but I was actually caught off guard by which way it went in the end. It was all longer than expected, but it kept moving really fast which I was excited about. I would absolutely recommend or read again.

Funeral Girl is a very dark and reflective work about anxiety, understanding mortality, and depression. It was a little darker than I realized but it really fit the way the story was being told. I really enjoyed Georgia and Milo’s connection, and appreciated their growth together.

It makes me think of They Both Die at the End meets Dear Even Hansen.

This book was everything. It gave me “They Both Die” vibes without both of them dying. That intensity was there and the pain was definitely felt, but also the joy. I also loved that we had the middle eastern representation. You don’t get to see that a lot in LGBTQ+ stories.

It should definitely have content warnings in it though because some of the topics can get very dark.

This was my first Enola book and honestly I really enjoyed it. Mystery isn’t really my go to category but it was easy, fun, and a quick read. Even though it was quick, it also still felt complete. I would absolutely read another. The narrator also did outstanding!

I though this was a fun way of retelling the tropes of Romeo and Juliet in a summer setting, and I really appreciate the way that the main characters friends them throughout the entire experience.

While I get where the parents were coming from in their side at the beginning, I kinda was uncomfy with how the parents treated their child’s very noticeable place on the autism spectrum. While it was never directly said, most  Neurodivergent individuals would probably recognize it. Instead of helping adjust, they in essence gave an ultimatum of forced socializing or no dreams. I feel like it could’ve been handled a lot better.

I was also a little I guess confused at the need for the intensity of alcohol and drug use by minors.

I really enjoyed this work, however I feel like it was way too short. There was so much opportunity to delve deeper into the issues, but it felt like it was cut off so suddenly.

Overall I enjoyed it though. I just feel it needed more.

This was a great retelling of gatsby. I really appreciated the quite literal look at “self made boys” and how that and the background of the characters gave a lot to the story. I also really appreciated the authors content warnings and the context notes as both helped the reader with some of the topics discussed.
