It took me a while to get going with this but once I did I raced through it.
I was the same age as Miv in the book in 1979 and I also live five minutes away from West Yorkshire so I do remember the Ripper times
I think I’d have liked a bit more of the music or pop culture of that time to bring it to life.
Loved it, highly recommend

Twisty and turny, just how I like it. The perfect length too, I do dislike books that are overwritten and full of padding.

I recommend ✨

This was a 3 ⭐️ read until the reveals and then boom!

Told in multiple POVs. There are times when you have to suspend belief and their are a few odd almost cartoonish characters but overall it was a good read and twists that I didn’t see coming
I recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unpopular opinion. I didn’t like this book, I wanted to but I just didn’t. This is a me thing as it’s a YA and I’m OA 😀
I found all the before the before, the after the before, the two years before the before but after the after was confusing and unnecessary. Why not just tell the story?
I like Monday but Claudia got on my nerves. Also, the book was way too long. Nothing happened until right at the end and that was underwhelming

For me this a borrow, don’t buy book.

The first few chapters of this book was okay, the rest terrible. It’s told in multiple POVs but every character was dull and irritating. The story was bland and uninteresting and nothing really happened and when it did 🥱
The repetition grated too. Did anybody proofread
this? I even wondered if it was written by AI 😵‍💫
Avoid this one, it’s 💩

A whole host of unlikeable characters, twists and turns galore and totally bingeable.
It was a slower start than I prefer and you have to suspend your belief in places but overall a very good read

An easy read popcorn thriller, though not so many thrills along the way. Nothing here to wow you. A fairly standard predictable tale.

This was not quite as good as the first in the series, the beginning started just as the last book finished off which was good, the end was also good, the middle, not as good, it felt a bit ploddy. Think it could have been a hundred pages shorter 🤷🏼‍♀️
Nether the less it’s a fantastic series and I’ll be reading the third one soon.

A slow start but when it picked up the pace I couldn’t put it down.  A few decent twists keep you reading, some may argue the content is inappropriate but it’s a thriller so bring it on 😀
This book has its flaws but on the whole it kept me entertained. I recommend.
