DNF. I was reading it for fun, not for study, and I got to a certain point where everybody was happy (or at least optimistic about their prospects) and I realised that if I kept going everyone would just be unhappy. So I didn't.

Moderate: Animal cruelty, Confinement
Minor: Domestic abuse, Sexism
"Animal cruelty" and "Confinement" because the story features an animal being kept in a cage despite clearly being unhappy in captivity.
I'm not sure if "Domestic abuse" and "Sexism" are overstating the case, but the mouse husband is depicted in ways reminiscent of some human husbands, and I don't think that's unintentional.
