I cannot tell you any of the books that teachers read to me and my classes when I was a child, except this one. I always got excited when they would read it. We knew that we would watch the movie after. It’s because of this book, that I prefer books before movies.

I would check this out from our local library. The poems were so much fun to read over and over. And when my children were old enough, I read them to them.
