when i was in college, i had a friend who i thought was terrible to me. very mean. and because of that i had an aversion to twin peaks. it was one of her favorite shows and the secret diary of laura palmer was a book she lived her life by, so i chose to avoid it. 

now, in watching the show and reading this - i guess im seeing things in a different light
