I spent over 8 hours listening to this book, and that's 8 hours I'll never have again.

Plot "twists" telegraphed early on. A newly-rich guy goes absolutely bananas buying everything in sight (totally top 1% obliviousness, obliviousness which actually becomes a factor in his later victimization) (boohoo) jerk. Lawyer Stone Barrington beds a few women. Bad guys double-cross each other, and at the end, a throw-away line about a piece of detective work *they should have done from the start* means the bad guy will get caught eventually. Let's go on vacation. What a waste of my time.
