My first YA Romance! Something I would definitely recommend to my nieces (once they hit middle school), it is super cute and there is so much to love! I had fairly average to low expectations and it blew them out of the park!
Went into this thinking it was Adult Romantesy but it is more of a YA fantasy book. That being said, I really liked it! The action and story telling was amazing and I would say this is something that feels like a Harry Potter (ish) story, there is a lot of world building but it is throughout the story (not just at the beginning). Demi, Collin, and Jonas are interesting characters and following their story (from Demi’s POV) was fun. There are lots of twists and turns, along with who do/should we trust. Will be reading the next book(s)!
Two sisters & double the romance! Libby & Hannah love each other but also have fallen into a pattern. This is a second chance romance & "cat-fish" romance. Emotional, a little funny, and an easy listen.
So emotional and good! Funny and so much growth for the characters!! I wanted a little more at the end, but honestly pretty happy with how the story rounded out. Highly recommend if you like to cry a little during a romance!
