The balance and care the Kate took discussing Tess’s situation was well written and introduced. The topic of sexual assault is not easy to talk about but going through Tess’s journey made me emphasize and connect with her. The story book come to life of Octavia & Callum from Blood Feud (vibes of Buffy meets Twilight), so much learning and emotional content! Highly recommend with a disclaimer that the story is center around Tess’s sexual abuse, coming to terms, learning to trust again, and fighting back!

A royal romance for the modern day. Read this romance book after listening to a FateMates Podcast that recommend it as a feel good option and I totally agree. It is world-wind romance that at first felt like "how will they every even like one another" to showing how quickly things can change as you let yourself know another person.
UHHHHH!!! Why did I wait so long to read this! So heart warming, with age gap and long distance! Plus, set in Minnesota! Can't wait to start reading the next in this series!!
I received a complimentary copy of #SinglePlayer through #NetGalley and @Dreamscape_Media in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are entirely my own.
If you're a gamer or a fan of LGBT+ romance, this book is an absolute delight! Single Player is packed with gamer references that had my inner nerd cheering--I loved seeing such vibrant, relatable gaming culture brought to life in this audiobook.
The story starts off a bit slow, but trust me, it's worth sticking with it. The dynamic between Cat and Andi is beautifully developed, with genuine growth and heartfelt moments. And can we talk about the D&D gameplay scene?? They were adorable, funny, and brimming with charm. As a fellow nerd (and small time gamer) myself, those parts felt like a love letter to the nerd community.
Whether you're into gaming, romance, or both, this story is a warm, entertaining read that celebrates connection, friendship, and embracing your passions. Highly recommend!
