I usually love a good vamp read, but this one left me disappointed. Elena seems more like a brat and not worth centering a book series around. I read the next few books to give it the benefit of the doubt, but it just didnt work for me.

The Struggle is a perfect title for this book because I STRUGGLED reading this...Its rare that I think that shows are better than books, but in this case it is inherently so. Please save your time and just watch the series instead.
