Tis the Season for Revenge by Morgan Elizabeth
Did not finish book. Stopped at 35%.

I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t Legally Blonde but make it worse (

seriously, even the Iconic™ Halloween party/bunny costume scene but, again, kinda half-baked in here

). This could have been a fun, heartfelt homage (I was expecting it somewhat as the story began), but, eh, it didn’t quite hit the mark to be it.
Hmm… now I wanna watch Legally Blonde for the millionth time over.

The Governess and the Orc by Finley Fenn
Did not finish book. Stopped at 13%.

I love fake dating and enemies to lovers and was immediately in love with Geva, but as the story progressed, I slowly got this feeling deep in my gut that this book was going to have one of my biggest squicks. I went searching for spoilers and yep… I was right. I couldn’t keep reading for my sanity. So, take this DNF as the result of my particular tastes and not as something wrong with the book. I am a little sad, NGL, because I was getting very invested in Geva and her story. Oh, well… Different strokes for different folks :)
