Liking this way more than I expected to. And the art is gorgeous!!! (I need more family scenes tho ☹️)

Started off a bit boring and the FL is a little too anxious and dense. There's not much development yet but I see potential.
When I say "I've read better fanfiction" this is the fanfic I'm talking about.

This is a very realistic and refreshing take on depression and also the whole isekai trope. An MC who wants to escape the world she was thrown into without any warning, and a commoner ML. *surprised pikachu face*. Besides that, the backstories of all the characters, even side charcaters', villains', OGML's & OGFL's were written with so much care and delibration. But it definitely seemed like the manhwa failed to portray the depth of emotions and feelings of the charcters as much as I'd like to see. Now I want to read the novel too, but that has been really hard to find.
Regardless this was a great read, and I enjoyed it. 7/10 would recommend.

Ended on a very satisfying note, I'm so happy the author took the time to tie all the loose ends together as I was wonderng what happend to Eris's maid and Kinita. The epilogues show women claiming back the power taken away from them which was so delightful to see!
Particluarly Helena's epilogue made me happy because as a maid she had no choice but to follow the whims of the non recyclable trash prince but now as an empress she posseses equal power and no longer needs to bend over backwards for him. It's not as bad of a fate as I wanted for his r@pist ass but it's poetic justice

Sigh...........the empress is such a peace of work. Sure she had her grievances but constantly telling everyone around you, including yourself how pitiful your life is and then turning around to use that as an excuse to make someone else's life more miserable is so shitty. I totally understand her though and fuck men of this world (except Anakhin). The priest is fishy and a little overbearing but for now I don'tt hate him. We'll see how it goes.

I love this, and I cannot emphasise this enough. The author excels AT EVERYTHING. The characters felt so REAL, the fantasy was mesmerising, the adventure was spectacular, the world building was amazing, the side stories were crazy too!!! Just everything was PERFECT. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS ENOUGH!!!!! It was so fun reading it! Not once was I bored or felt like the plot was too slow, which is normal for a fantasy novel. At first I was surprised cause it's completely different from the drama but I love it so muccccchhhhhhhhh
Now I've watched the drama ✅ I've read the novel ✅ now I just need to read the manhua before falling into the endless void of "What am i gonna read next, nothing will ever come close to this"
