Prepare to swoon!

This story is narrated in dual by Aaron Shedlock & Emma Wilder who did a great work: every bit of banter, tension, and emotional depth is brought to life in a way that makes this story utterly sweet

Lucas isn’t just a cocky hockey player; he’s layered and that makes him irresistible.
Rory is a dedicated vet and twin sister to his teammate’s girlfriend (Aiden and Hutch). She is a badass, no-nonsense heroine.
Their link? Daisy the chocolate labradoodle found in a dumpster…

If you love swoony MMCs, sassy heroines, and slow-burn goodness, this one is for you!

Tropes
Golden retriever / black cat
He falls first
Hate to love
Easy going Hockey romance
Found family
Spice 🌶️🌶️ (but Chapters 14-16 will worth your wait. Just saying.)

This audio is narrated in dual by Heather Firth and Corvin King.

I am now staring at the wall having an existential crisis and a mental break down.
What happened to me?
I’ve never been so disturbed while reading.

Caden is the most confusing character I’ve read so far: he says all the right things and does all the wrong ones.
He is a perfect sociopath. And yet the more he is with Billie, the more he becomes human.
He communicates with her through songs.
But he doesn’t understand the concept of consent. Like at all.
So many times I was struggling between hating him and loving him.
I think I was in the same state of mind as Billie.

That’s why the author did a brilliant job. This is impossible to be indifferent to the characters.

If you are triggered by sexual assault and rape, don’t. Just DON’T.
This is an important part of this story.
Your mental health worth a lot (more than a book).

This audiobook is dual-narrated by a talented cast: Lexi Evans, Gregory Salinas, Logan Anare, and Tyler Griffin.

While the story is engaging, the “why choose” segment feels oddly underdeveloped. What truly stands out is the chaotic mix of legal intrigue, blackmail, and—yes—some steamy scenes.

At its center is Bernadette, a curvy fashion designer as passionate about her craft as she is about reclaiming her stolen designs. She’s juggling everything from a shady ex involved in drugs to a high-stakes auction where her worth—and her work—is literally up for bid. Her guys are equally larger-than-life: Ford, the grumpy bisexual lawyer hopelessly in love with Ashton, a caring yet conflicted doctor; and Emery, a CEO who is commitment-phobic with rough tastes.

While the story and its plots are compelling, I found myself fully invested. I finished the book purely for its narrative—and not for the smut, which, while plentiful, often felt repetitive (same words, different guy). I came for the smut, but I stayed for the plots.

This audio is narrated in dual by Ada Sinclair and Patrick Zeller. Patrick did an AMAZING job because he was able to create such a variety of male voices that you are able to discern them.

After the horrible cliffhanger at the end of the first book, I really needed a happy ending. This is Ames’ less spicy duet—but don’t worry, it delivers.
🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5 (we are still talking about a FMMMMMM)

I’m a sucker for nicknames in foreign languages, and I was completely satisfied here. I loved seeing:
• Alexey with “Moya Zhizn” (my life)
• Dimitri with “Boginya” (Goddess)
• Ghost with “Sunshine”
• Caden with “Firefly”
• Nikolai with “Zolotoy” (gold)
• Banger with “baby doll”

Plus, there are all the sweet names they give to one another.

As with all of Ames’ books, you need a map of the characters from the previous installments because there is a lot of crossover. My absolute favorite will always be Gage (from the Riches to Riches duet).

If you’re looking for a wild ride where chaos, sexuality, and unexpected tenderness collide, you’ll get it all. Despite the relentless action and explicit scenes, the story also reveals a human core, with genuine moments of love, loyalty, and vulnerability shining through all the madness.

Fall With Me is narrated by Jae Delane and Alex Kydd in dual.

This book is funny, emotional, steamy, and deeply heartfelt: Jaxon’s growth, Lennon’s strength, and their undeniable chemistry.

Tropes & Themes:
✔️ Hockey Romance
✔️ One Night Stand → More
✔️ Enemies to Lovers
✔️ He Falls Hard & First
✔️ Forced Roommates
✔️ Opposites Attract
✔️ Emotional Growth & Healing

First of all, Jaxon is a cat daddy. So that’s a big YES for me.
I really loved Lennon. She is a fierce, independent African American woman reclaiming her life after being boxed into expectations.
It was nice that the author also talked about periods and sexuality. Because, well, it’s simply life.

The bickering? Top-tier.
The romantic progression? A perfect slow burn.
The emotional depth? Heart-wrenching.
Jaxon’s Love Confession
:
Goosebumps. Little sobs. Everything.

While it’s technically a standalone, the presence of the interconnected characters with the 3 others books are really important. So maybe read the first book first at least and the third because Carter and Adam are important to Jaxon’s story.

I can say without a doubt that this book is my favorite of the series.
It’s narrated in dual by Kasha Kensington and Alex Kydd.

But don’t get me wrong, the  story of Adam and Rosie is the cutest cheesiest book ever  with a lit bit of spice.
Adam is a golden retriever level 2000. He made me melt so many times saying all the right thing and being the sweet guy you want in these sport romances.

If you are searching for an intense complex love story, you can hard pass.
But if you want to be cuddled and dream, this is your book.
Perhaps it is because I needed it, but even if it was a bit redundant (his love of his life, proud of her…), it was perfect.

Tropes:
Crush at first side
Hockey goalie / veterinarian
Hidden identity
He is really cutie pie
Single mum
Third act breakup (sort of)

Just a big trigger warning if you are sensible like me:

This book hurts, but in a way that makes you want to hug it after you’re done.
It’s raw, intense, and sometimes unbearably painful. It’s about survival, yes, but it’s also about what happens after. How do you put yourself back together when you don’t even know who you are anymore? How do you trust, love, or even breathe without feeling like the past is still clawing at your throat?

Everly and Isaac went through the worst and somehow found each other again. And in the end, it’s about love, not the fairytale kind, but the kind that’s scarred, imperfect, and real.

Trigger warnings:
It’s important to know that the first part of this book deals with medical trauma linked to fertility. If this is a sensitive topic for you, please take it into consideration before reading.

I had the privilege to receive the book as an arc and this is my honest review.

Narrated by Angelina Rocca and Joe Arden in duet narration, this story delves into the intense lives of two complex characters.
I didn’t read the series and just went through this one. Just because I love the villain’s story.
I don’t regret this choice, not even a little bit.

Rachel, raised as a mafia princess, is sassy, fierce, and incredibly strong. Adam, a confident and cocky FBI agent, enters her world, bringing a dynamic mix of tension and attraction.

Rachel is constantly in survival mode, trapped in situations with no good options. Her struggles are heartbreaking, and her journey is deeply compelling. Jaxon, in particular, is a character I cannot stand. His betrayal, cowardice, gaslighting, and infidelity left Rachel utterly unprotected when she needed him most.

Trust doesn’t come easily—it must be earned. The question is, can Rachel and Adam rebuild what they once had?
As a profiler, Adam uses his skills to understand Rachel on a deeper level and strives to become a better man for her.

This story is an emotional exploration of two broken souls searching for redemption, trust, and love. The raw intimacy between the main characters is captivating, and the final 10% of the book is absolutely mind-blowing!

This audio is narrated in dual POV by Ada Sinclair and Patrick Zeller. I have to admit that Patrick’s ability to embody six male main characters is truly impressive.

The book ends on a brutal cliffhanger, and I can’t wait to dive into the second installment.

This gritty, fast-paced story offers a whirlwind of gang wars, forbidden love, and intricate relationships that leave the reader reeling with suspense and emotion.

While the book excels in many areas, there are moments where the sheer number of characters feels overwhelming.
I found myself needing to count and list every character from each book just to keep track of who is who and who is with whom. At this point, I practically needed a Game of Thrones-style map.

I love the dynamics between all of them:
- The terror twins, Alexey and Dimitri, who are completely smitten
- Nikolai, the shy yet overbearing cousin
- the Ruthless Ghost and the fumny flirty Caden
- and the discreet Banger

Each of them shares a unique connection with Bridget, and they all move at their own pace in their relationships with her. As always, Ames delivers the most intense and spicy why choose romance.

Tropes

That. Was. Hot.

In one word, I can summarize this book: PASSION. There’s no better way to describe this story, it’s intense, gripping, and utterly unputdownable.

Cade, the head of cybersecurity for the government and private companies, is the ultimate bad boy. With tattoos and a brooding demeanor (and maybe a piercing), he is as dangerous as he is brilliant.

Izzy, on the other hand, is fire personified. A brilliant data analyst and recovered addict, she doesn’t take shït from anyone, especially not Cade. She hs fiercely independent, unapologetic, and determined to stand her grounds even when sparks fly (and boy, do they fly).

The audiobook narration by Rose Dioro and Antonio Amato is a dual performance
