A 3-page summary would have been more exciting than this 300-page novel. There were times when I had to resist the feeling of putting this book down because I chose this novel for one of my long and tiring journeys. I'm glad that I could finish it.
I knew that the novel came from the author of Krishna's Key, which I read quite a while back, in which the author has set really high standards of research one puts in for a fiction. I wasn't disappointed on that parameter. However, there were times when I lost the track of characters, regions, religions and the point that is being made. Which made me feel like I was reading a book full of facts and little story.
I would suggest all the future readers to pick this novel with another one in your backpack. The alternation strategy of book reading would have made it more interesting if not that exciting.
