I liked The Last Hunt quite a bit, and had no idea that this was a sequel to The Final Hunt before writing this review.
The Last Hunt was a thrilling, mysterious adventure and the tempo was just perfect. The characters were full of flavor and I questioned every single one of them while trying to find out what was going on!
If you love thrillers set in a remote village in Alaska, with twist and turns, characters you can’t trust, this one’s for you.
Also, the narrator Leslie Howard was absolutely perfect for this one, she made the whole experience ten times better.
A huge thanks to NetGalley, Spotify Audiobooks, Audrey J. Cole and Leslie Howard for this incredible thriller!
The Good Girl was almost TO real for me. I had a quite a few moments where I had to just pause and try to breathe. The way Michelle Dunne writes about abuse is just gut wrenching, and for me, it took me back to when I was a child, and that was absolutely frightening.
With that said this was an incredible book. The way Dunne portrayed the bond between siblings, the torture, the emotional abuse, I’m just in awe.
I loved the narrator Emer Heatley, she truly brought this book to life.
I definitely want to recommend this book, but please, be aware of the triggers such as: - Extreme child abuse (lots of it) - Rape - Drug use - Abuse overall (lots and lots, and lots.)
A huge thanks to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media, Michelle Dunne and the narrator Emer Heatley for this amazing opportunity.
The Woman at My Wedding unfortunately fell flat for me.
Honestly I just felt like I needed it to end, but it just kept going, and going, and going.
The plot itself had great potential, but the characters were absolutely awful and not in a “Oh Gosh they’re batshit crazy way”. They just were.
And the ending…. It was just bad. It felt so rushed and not thought through and I was just bored the entire time.
I truly wish it would be better, but it unfortunately wasn’t, for me at least.
If you’re new to psychological thrillers this might be a fun read, since the plots are plotting to say the least, but for the ones reading thrillers on a daily basis this might not be a thrilling book to read or listen to.
A thanks to NetGalley and Bookouture Audio for the opportunity to listen to The Woman at my Wedding.
Flaws of characters a main focus? It's complicated

That night at the library was a disappointment for me. I had really high expectations since the premise of the book is great- I mean, who wouldn’t like a story about a group of seniors calling upon an ancient god with a murder mystery and everything that comes with it?!
I was confused most of the time while listening to this audiobook and I can’t really wrap my head around if it was the switch between the characters all the time, or the twists and turns that made my head spin like a carousel.
The characters themselves were not my cup of tea, they were boring and weird (not in a good way), and I wasn’t able to attach to any of them.
I’m glad I had the opportunity to listen to That night at the library, but it wasn’t for me.
Thanks to NetGalley and RB Media for giving me the opportunity.
You, Me, Her was a ride, for sure! A fast paced thriller with lots of twists and turns.
The narrator Tamsin Kennard made a perfectly good job by making this book even better. I loved her voice and found it easy and enjoyable to listen to the audio version on this book.
The book itself was great, and I found the plot very intriguing. It made me question my, what I thought, impeccable ability to read people and find out who the bad guy is, and it took me a WHILE to figure it all out. I can’t really say much without spoiling the entire book, BUT I genuinely recommend You Me Her to every fan of a fast paced psychological thriller. For all Freida McFadden fans, hop on the train and read this great book by Sue Watson!
A huge thanks to NetGalley, Sue Watson, Tamsin Kennard and Bookouture Audio for giving me the opportunity to listen to this great audiobook!
First of all, I loved this book, BUT I made the mistake of picking up the audiobook INSTEAD of the physical copy in the first place.
The audiobook was great although since the chapters are so short and switches to another character in every chapter it made me confused in a way I can’t even describe. For the first half of the book I didn’t even know which character was which…
So when I then bought the physical copy it made the experience so much better! The characters are amazing, I love the plot, the twists, the scheming, the banter between everyone… A great book! I can’t wait til the next comes out!
Although, from time to time I got quite confused due to the switch between the two timelines.
I enjoyed it for the most part, and would absolutely recommend it to those who are interested in the history about the Devil.
I myself come from the Balkans and loved that Randall talked about the view on the Devil there, and it felt so very important that he mentioned the history of our people, although I wished he would have given it more attention through the book.
As I’ve seen in other reviews I stand by the fact that it lacked other views on the dark and mystical, and it would be a lovely edition to the story itself.
I thought Lane Hakel was a perfect narrator for The Devil’s best trick.
Thanks to NetGalley, Dreamscape Media and Randall Sullivan for the opportunity to listen to this book.
