Kindle Reader

I bought this book to read and check the Page to Screen Kindle Challenge, and I could not have picked a better one to read than this.

It took me a longer time than usual to finish this one 'cause I just felt like my head couldn't take everything that was happening, thinking that this happened to who wrote the words I was reading, and not some historian, it was as real as it could get.

These are the types of books to put on reading challenges.
I am of different nationality, but my history relates to being slaves of foreign people,
on our home land. And history will never forget.

A good read, looking forward to watch the movie.

This is one of the first books of this genre that I've read this year and phew, I didn't read the reviews when I started it, and when I tell you, everything came in as a shock to me, I meant it.

From when Adara first met Evren, my knees went weak. LOL. Sorry! I was new to this genre when I read this and I really had fun reading it, I finished this first book in four hours. *hehe*

Okay, well the first book was a blast to begin. But this one was a little dragging for me, every chapter was THAT, and all I could read was mate mate mate, and I actually had to put this one down and read another book in between. But I finished this book so I can jump on to the third book.

Ahh, I wanted to love this series so bad, but this was too much spice with little to no plot.

Okay, well this is a perfect ending to Adara and Evren's story. Devoured this in less than a day. And I'm really glad we get to read Thalia and Sorin's next.

Solid 4.8 ⭐ for the final book.
And an average of 4.43 ⭐ for the whole series.

I might read more from Holly Renee after a few more months.

Oh, this is one of the fast paced reads I have done, one of my, "Okay just one more chapter." book.
The concept, the story line and the music that was playing in my head, everything about this book screams YA and I'm here for it.

When The Plutos were at the club and Sia's Elastic Heart played, oh that brought back memories– well Death Cast-less in my part, but oh how this book holds my heart.

A must read really.

Honestly, I gave this book 4 stars after I read it, but now I feel like it's too passing. Never made any difference or never struck a nerve for me. It felt like I was reading thru an Instagram feed with a certain hashtag.

"The truth is you do not change your life when you fix every piece and call that healing."

The only part I liked. I felt like I read a different book than everyone else.

What?

I feel like I need to finish this whole collection before I actually update my review. Sooo, I'll be right back.
