I thought this was a duology?? A waste of 12 hours. Nothing really happened until the last 5 chapters of the book and even then the ending was SO unsatisfying.

This series has more loose ends than a thrifted afghan.

As a millennial it pains me to say that this was occasionally too *millennial* for me. Think “but first, coffee” vibes. Also if I had to hear about his jeans leaving nothing to the imagination one more time!! The inner dialogue of the FMC made me insane. She was very selfish and clueless at times.

Overall it was a decent, light read. I really liked the relationship between the FMC and her sister. The narrative would not have suffered if all the curling technical speak was omitted!
