Heartwarming

Such a sweet, tender, heartwarming story. Very creative with great vocabulary. We love donkeys and best was a fantastic character.

All the things I care about.

I had no idea what this book was going to bring up in me. I advocate strongly about knowing your choices in regard to childbirth and this book brought on all of my emotions about my generation, my mother's and grandmother's. I can't wait to gift this to my mother for her 60th birthday.

Shame inducing

Felt shameful. Can't force someone to eat something they don't like and playground expiration of any kid is how kids learn. Screw those shaming playground moms.

I woke up having nightmares. I couldn't put it down but also didn't want it to end.

My kids for sure.

Real life with kids. I felt my night-time triggers as I read this to my kids but could also laugh about how hard it can be sometimes being a parent.

This book left me emotional and smiling hard as I finished. Throughout the book I kept feeling like I want to get into watching soccer. I'm from Utah and was so pleased to connect with the references about my state.
