What does one say about a book that is so beautifully written that all I want to do is reread it immediately? This book evoked so much emotion…I’m glad I read it slowly so that I could truly enjoy it.
The prose is beautiful. The plot is twisty and different. The characters are wonderful. The aspect of time-travel is unique…it’s wonderful from start to finish.
There is nothing inherently “fast-paced” or “spicy” about this book, but it’s beautiful nonetheless. The over-arching mystery surrounding the Farrow women, and most importantly, June and her mother, is clever and engaging. However, I do wish that a few characters had a little more of a backstory or character building, or a more complete arc, but that doesn’t take away from the book in and of itself.
