Broken Sky by L.A. Weatherly

I found the book very slow to start off with and I'd honestly though about giving up, but I'm so glad I didn't! It got to the point where I couldn't stop reading. It's filled with twists and stuff you can't see coming.

This book was okay. I'd say it was over-hyped, I've read a lot very similar and honestly the "shock" isn't much of one as I could tell from early on. It is well written though and if you enjoy crime dramas and want to pass a couple of days this will do the trick.
Someone Else's Skin by Sarah Hilary

Standard crime thriller. I didn't really connect with any of the characters, I've read other Marnie Rome novels and I prefer them to this one. It's well written and brings several topics which are sometimes taboo, to light.
The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates by Wes Moore

I'm not one for autobiographies, biographies.. anything of that sort. I'm rarely interested in others stories, I'm only useless interested in fiction, it's harsh and I've tried to get past it because I'm sure I'm missing out on some amazing books, but it's true.
Something made me buy this book, god knows what it was but I was drawn to it. I'm so glad I did. It is the most powerful, moving book I have read in a good few years. I feel so connected to both Wes Moores.. I felt like I was riding thier rollercoaster s of life with them. Wes Moore has written an amazing book and did a brilliant job in telling both his and the other Wes' stories.
I'd recommend this to everyone, this book has made me stop and think. Its definitely taught me a lot, about life, about chances about opportunities and about differences. Moving yet hopeful. I couldn't put the book down. Bravo!

I usually love books that are set in this time period. Although the book is very authentic in writing style & in story I couldn't really become attatched to the characters and the story was very slow and ended abruptly.

I was so excited for this book and honestly I felt let down after reading it. It's not a bad book, just nothing amazing happens in it, it didn't incite any feelings at all. A good book if you want to mind numbingly pass the time

I wasn't expecting much from this book, but as I'm into gaming I thought I'd give it a read. It's one of the best books I've read in a long time, so excited for the next one. A must read for anyone, gamers especially. I couldn't put it down!

Quite good, like every other crime drama to start - quite slow, but picked up pace and I couldn't put it down.
