I enjoyed the first half of this book. It’s not my usual pick as I typically do not enjoy modern fantasy but decided to give it a try. I overlooked the glaring grammatical errors throughout trying to give the book a chance. But the errors, mixed with an entirely confusing religion and mythology mixture, and random modern references really turned me off from this book. I will not be continuing the series.
