Really enjoyed reading it. Loved the arc Shallan goes through. Great magic and characters. It bugs me sometimes how much Brandon Sanderson writes, it expands way too much sometimes, and there is some over-explanation of things but either way, I really liked the book, it is better than the first, the last 400 pages are really addictive.

el libro podria ser 200 páginas menos, y el cambio entre personajes fue un poco abrupto a veces. Pero muy buenos personajes un buen inicio a la saga

<spoilers>

I’ve been a shadowhunter Fan since i was like 13 and i’m 21 now. And I had always found that even though I was getting older, i still enjoyed her books very much. She writes action in a way that drives the story forward and I love it, how every story is filled with love and things are so intense its a bit funny. And even when you can see the plotlines coming and guess what would happen, it challenged you a little when reading and there were turns and a story unfolding.
However this last book felt so underwhelming, Belial in my opinion was the worst enemy in any of the books, and in paper he should be the scariest. He seemed like a mad person really.

My highlights were Thomas as a character, Matthew and his struggle and Lucie is my confort character and that moment with Cordelia discussing their relationship struck me, there isnt much female friendship in that way in shadowhunters really, where its love but dissapointing.

Then the climax was underwhelming, the stakes were so low, like in paper Belial should be thw worst but he just wanted to sit on the englands throne like just let him do it i dont see whats wrong  lol.

The live triangle it’s stupid. I thought it would be dropped that entire storyline but in the end matthew tells cordelia he would always live her or sth like that and i hated it.

This a me thing but Lucie and Matthew were endgame hahah, and i do not care much about it though but why did cassandra dropped their friendship. Like yeah maybe they dont get together but they were so close and suddenly gone. Both completly obsessed over other people.
I love jesse though, but yeah

And like the second book endend with high stakes and then i all fell down in the fist 10 chapters.

Pd/ i didnt mind Christophers death, like if we had seen the aftermath on Thomas perspective or even Lucie or more of James it would have hurt more but like someone has to die 🙃
I really thiught it would be Matthew, like the only one who would not get a partner im this book but gladly that didnt happen 🥰

Well, cassie it was lovely.
