The first two hundred pages of this book were actually pretty boring. It only got addictive when the Monster Olympics begun. This book was definitely much better than the last and I’m happy to end this series on a good note.

I really think the ending worked well and I’m happy everything turned out all right in the end. I actually got really emotionally when Shera left Arion, but I was extremely happy when we find out that she comes back thirty years later. Jasper adds a nice twist to the story as well. The last chapter was really cool because we got to see everything from Anna’s POV and if I’m being honest I think everyone wanted to see what goes on in Anna’s mind.

The characters in this series have really progressed. It’s amazing how much people change over six books. I’m thinking back to a month ago when I first started reading this series and I did not expect Violet to turn out how she did at all. She seemed so naive and oblivious at first and it turns out she has this big powerful monster inside of her. Honestly, I’m really happy with how this series ended and I’m actually really sad that there are no more books.

This was such a creepy book, I couldn't help but not be able to put it down. If you want to read something that will freak you out and make you question everything, this is the book for you.

At first I didn't feel much of a connection to the characters, but as the storyline thickened I felt the need to know more. I particularly enjoyed reading sections from Verity’s manuscript, it gave me great insight on what she was thinking and why she did what she did.

The more you read the more addicted you become and the more shocking it gets. This book will have you looking over your shoulder every time you feel the need to just walk down the stairs.

Colleen Hoover did a great job at making this book as frightening as possible.

This has to be one of the only books I have read that has a really stupid main character. I swear King is actually just really dumb. None of this made any sense.

First, I’m pretty sure Doe is underage so...illegal.
Secondly, King didn’t even try to keep Doe. If he loved her he would’ve tried, instead of falling for Doe’s father’s trap.
Thirdly, the romance was way to fast. One moment she hates him and then the next chapter she’s all up in him. Does this girl not have a brain??
Finally, why would King give Doe back to her family when she ran away from them??

Also, what was with Preppy’s death. His death was unneeded and just adds unwanted and unnecessary drama to the storyline. Nothing came from his death. It was just unneeded.

The only thing that saved this book was the ending. It was such an unpredictable turn of events.

I’m not sure if I can handle the second book.

I really didn’t like this book. Its focus was less about the romance, but more on other things (oopsie no spoilers).

I just found it so boring. Nothing interesting really happened. I was just waiting for more interaction between Vaughn and Lenora and when that finally happened that seemed to be more boring than when they were apart.

I’m really disappointed. I expected this to be better than it was :(

This was a great, cute, little book to read if you are ever in the need for something short.

It was really fun to read, especially because I’ve been needing a break from long books.

I really loved the character development and connection between Melody and Jamie. It grew as the story developed and I really like that within a book. The only thing I didn’t like was how abruptly it ended. I was confused as to how quickly everything had been solved :(

Where do I start? I have so much to say about this book, I really don’t know where to begin. So, I’m just going to write about what comes to my mind first, and see how it goes.

Firstly, I think the blurb/description of the book is misleading. We were hinted that it was going to be a cliche BadboyXGoodgirl romance, but it was pretty much the total opposite. Abby was not much of a good girl or nerdy at all; she was very ‘normal’. I don’t see how a cardigan can make her a nerd. She seemed more than happy to do things that the stereotypical ‘Good Girl’ would not do.

Furthermore, I also really hated the lack of character development and the lack of emotional connection between both Abby and Travis. If I’m being honest they both had better emotional connections with their friends than each other. It didn’t feel like they loved each other. Sometimes an author can imply that two characters have a connection, but if the reader does not feel it, it’s not there. I’m all for the ‘love at first sight’ theme, but it did not really seem like love at first sight. Nevertheless, there were moments when I could feel a connection, but it was not very strong. Furthermore, there was no character development whatsoever, and I felt like the characters never actually progressed at all from when I first read about them.

However, I did like some of the storyline, just not a lot of it. But the book was not so bad that it became boring; I was able to continue reading until the end.

As I was reading this a few things didn’t make sense to me. How did Giulia learn to look after a toddler and a baby overnight? How did Cassio know Gaia cheated on him for eight years before he had been told? There were a lot of holes in this plot and they made the book a bit frustrating to read.

There were times when I felt as if the book was rushed and it kept dragging - it definitely felt more than 289 pages. However, I did like the storyline and although it was frustrating at times it was a good book.

I do feel like a lot of the problems within the book were resolved too quickly. I wanted more of a character development story, not an instant connection.

I feel like the only reason I’m not giving it less than 3.5 stars is because I’m a sucker for a happy ending.
