Deviant King by Rina Kent

I absolutely loved this book!! This was so addicting, I read it at every spare moment I had and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series (let’s hope it’s as good as the first).
The story is twisted, but it’s twisted in just the right ways to make the story so much more compelling. Initially, I was surprised that I enjoyed this as Bully Romances tend to lose their plots too early in the book. Furthermore, a lot of Bully Romances are extremely predictable but not this one. There’s so much that I wasn’t expecting and so many mysteries left to solve.
Aidan King is messed up in many ways and there have been so many hints as to what happened to him and I just need to know more. He’s a very complex character and fascinating, I can’t help but want to know more about him. Hopefully, in the later books, we uncover his secrets, but for now, we will have to wait.
Elsa seems very naive in comparison to Aidan, it almost makes me feel bad for her. She can’t even remember what happened to her parents and I just have this feeling that it has something to do with Aidan.
Elsa and Aidan’s chemistry is really amazing and I generally loved how throughout the book Elsa warmed up to Aidan, even though she hated him.

Wow...Rina did it once again!! This book was just as great as the first :)
I’m honestly speechless...that was one heck of an ending and I can’t believe I now have to wait four days for the next book. I just need to know how it ends. (Also, I have to ask. If Silver called Jonathon Uncle, doesn’t that make her and Aidan cousins?? And they are engaged??)
Elsa and Aidan’s relationship gradually got better throughout the book. It developed a lot more and I’m so happy that they got back together. They are perfect for each other.
I’m pleased we got to see Knox towards the end with Elsa’s dad. I knew something didn’t seem right with Knox and now more things are starting to click together. Also, I’m curious about Kim. She must be hiding something, nothing about her sits right with me.
Now that Elsa is beginning to regain her memories the story has become more twisted than I ever thought it would. Like I previously said in my other reviews, this book can be really unpredictable. But, I can’t help but think that there is something we still don’t know about Elsa’s past that’ll change everything.
Overall, this book was fantastic and I hope the next part of the series will be too.

Cruel King: Special Edition Print by Rina Kent

Wow!! Rina did it again!! Cruel King is such an incredible and addictive story. It’ll have you hooked right from the beginning through till the end.
One thing I have to point is that a lot of it has the same storyline as Elsa and Aidan’s story, but it’s still very different. I’m hoping the next few books in the series won’t follow the same outline.
I enjoyed every moment of this and I’d happily read it again. I couldn’t help but want to indulge myself in Astrid’s and Levi’s story.

I’m kind of disappointed. I was expecting more romance, it was a letdown.
All in all, it was a good book, but I was really expecting more from it. The blurb and description were very misleading.
I still think it was an interesting book. It was more fantasy than romance though. I was really hoping for it to be romantic but turns out it wasn’t.
I’ll be read the next book because that cliffhanger is too good to not continue.

This book was just so...boring. It dragged on and on and on and I just wanted it to end.
All of it was so predictable, nothing was original. Everything was so obvious and I just find Tessa quite dumb. The book was truly painful to read.
However, I might feel this way because someone spoilt the series for me, so maybe it just didn’t have the same effect on me for that reason. But the book was truly just really awful.
I shall not be continuing with the series.

I FREAKING LOVED IT!!!!
IT WAS SO F*****G TABOO, but in a good way. Honestly, this has to be the hottest book I've read in a long time. I loved every moment of it. I even deliberately read it at a slower pace than I’d usually read because I didn't want it to end.
It’s an incredible story of love, heartbreak and redemption which you will not want to miss.
I enjoyed every page. It even had amazing character development. I loved reading about how both characters grew as people and realised what they both wanted and had to do.
It was a phenomenal read!!!!

I would like to thank the YA Buddy Reads Group for a copy of this book. It definitely didn't go to waste :)

This book was really fun to read. However, the description of the book is a bit misleading. It hints that it’ll be based around an anger management class, but there’s really not much about it. Nevertheless, it’s a key stage in the story that helps a lot with Emily and Jake’s character development.
One thing I really liked about the book was Alfie’s POV. I absolutely loved reading about the world how he sees it. It makes him seem so innocent and you just can’t help but feel sympathy for him. Alfie was definitely my favourite person/thing in/about the book - he made it so much more entertaining.
I enjoyed how throughout the book the characters changed and got themselves into a happier place. It’s nice to FINALLY read a book that has, proper, character development and not one where people somehow change overnight.
Also, I really like how it touches on mental disabilities (if that’s the word, sorry if anyone gets offended). It shows us that you can get through problems that certain young children may have. Alfie’s PDA (no not that kind, it stands for Demand Avoidance, it’s on the Autism spectrum) and his OCD gets noticed and I love how his family finally realise how scary the world is to him and that they help him more to make his way through life.

I’m having mixed feelings about this book. The first half was great and I wanted to keep reading - but, I felt like it went downhill from there.
The story moved too quickly for me; the brothers went from hating Ella to liking her overnight (quite, literally). This is one of the things that really annoyed me about this book - it just wasn’t realistic.
The first half (around half - maybe a bit more) was actually really interesting and I felt that I would enjoy the book but, unfortunately, it went downhill.
It didn’t really feel like a bully romance; it was more hate to love romance - then back to hate.
Did I hate it? No. But, did I love it? No.
I will not be reading Broken Prince (the second book in this series)

I much preferred this than the previous book I read in this series (Paper Princess). I did say that I wouldn’t be reading anymore from this series in my review of Paper Princess but this book fitted a challenge I was participating in; so I thought, why not?
I started this feeling like it would be better than when I had previously read about the Royals - and I was right. I really enjoyed reading about Savannah and Gideon and to be able to find out what had happened between them in the past.
I’m also a bit confused as to how Steve is still alive. I know I haven’t read the other two books before this, so did he fake his death? I was also confused by how he killed a women (Dinah or Brooke?) - I can tell I missed a lot.
But, all in all, this was a nice, quick and cute novella which absolutely I loved.

This has to be the fastest I’ve read a book over 300 pages in a while - it was just so good I couldn’t put it down; I just wanted to keep reading.
I really enjoyed this book, and I cannot wait to read the second book in this series ‘The Elite’.
The main character, America Singer, definitely stood out to me. She’s your average teenager - hungover with heartbreak - but more.
One thing I usually hate is when there’s two guys involved - Prince Maxon and Aspen - but surprisingly I liked it in this book.
It’s slightly cliche, in some respects, but it was a very addicting read and it just left me wanting to read more.
