Liked it a lot! The chapters were short and fast paced and the ending was satisfying. The female rage and racism/ fetishization of Asian girls was well written. In general a good book.

Krabat is a classic and my childhood book. My father used to read it to me and reading it now again on my own made me nostalgic.
The story is simple but so dark and I like the old German way of writing. It had me hooked. I just wished the ending would have been more descriptive and with a little more tension.
Overall a captivating classic- read it!

I loved this book so much and it turned out to be a good early Halloween story.
Most of the characters I hated (which you are supposed to do I guess), but saw myself in the main character.
The ending was so satisfying even though I think a little more suffering would have been appropriate.
Nonetheless a strong story and I will check out the other works of the author out.

This book pained me so much. I read it in one day and I could feel the despair of the main character. It’s well written and fast paced, which makes it a solid read for early spooky season.

From the three Mangas I read in this series, I enjoyed this one the least. It didn’t quite add to the plot, but rather showed the life a few years forward from the original time line from one of the characters. I hope to like the next one more.

You can’t go wrong with a manga by hayao Miyazaki and this was no exception.
The plot line and the looks of the characters and scenery were very similar or almost identical with already existing ghibli movies, which created a nostalgic atmosphere.
I finished it in less than an hour, so everyone who’s looking for a fast relaxing read will love this manga.

What a quick comic series!
I enjoyed the plot even though I wish the story would have gone more in depth about back stories or little details like why Romie doesn’t speak at all. Still I enjoyed my time with the children.
