Family of Liars by E. Lockhart

As one of the people who really enjoyed "We Were Liars", I was so excited to read this prequel. And I loved it so much! What I liked the most are the twists and turns and the amazing character development. Although, it was full of unlikable characters especially Pfeff he's so annoying
Spoiler I was so happy when he died because he deserved it
but that's what makes the story more intriguing. Overall it was a really good read not as good as the first book but I totally recommend it.

Wow. Just wow. I absolutely loved this book! Read it in one sitting because I needed to know what happens next. I never guessed the ending.
I like a book that hits you with a surprise ending, and this one certainly delivered. I did not see the twist coming, so I enjoyed how the book ended because it wasn't something I expected to happen. I also appreciated the more realistic ending, not one that ends in happily ever after, but one that mimics real life, in which the people in the story must pick up the pieces, however hard it may be, and continue on with their lives. Excellent read that will keep you wanting more!

"You say you can’t imagine what it must be like to lose a child. Let me make it easy for you. It’s the beginning of the end of your world.”

What an amazing story! Blanky is not one to read if you're afraid to have your heartstrings tugged, twisted and then torn. It will have you crying, dredging up suppressed memories of loss and regrets. It will tear your heart in two and then give you hope only to rip that away also. It’s been a long time since I’ve read a story that left me so emotionally drained. I LOVED it!

This is one of those books that I REALLY wanted to like, so I kept trying (and failing) to get into it. I found it incredibly easy to put down and forget about. That's never a good sign. It was so boring, there's some nice writing but the pacing is slow. Not much happens. Also, her sister Libby who's supposed to be a married mother of 2 & presumably in her late 20s/early 30s was written like a teen, from reffering to Nora as "sissy" to her childlike dialogue... everything was cringe. This book didn’t keep my attention and I didn’t want to finish it but I pushed through it unfortunately. I wouldn’t recommend.

So funny! I felt like I could relate to almost every single comic in this book! I've always loved Sarah Andersen's works. Most of the pages will make you smile and by the end you may understand introverts a little better.
Princess Princess Ever After by K. O'Neill

This story is nice if you just want a quick read, but don't expect much. The plot is pretty basic, princess saves another princess, one of them gets abducted, the defeat the bad guy and save the friend, and they get married. The artwork is pleasant, but the narrative is horrible.
Blankets by Craig Thompson

Blankets tells the story of the author's, Craig Thompson, first love. However, it is not your typical romantic comedy. Thompson is very forthcoming as he explores his relationship with his brother and his battle with religion. His parents are abusive and oftentimes lock him and his brother in a cubby hole if they misbehave. They are born again Christians and try to push their faith on Thompson with limited success. While Thompson tries to adhere to his parents' rules, he finds that he cannot do so while also remaining true to himself. It is not until he meets Raina that he finds acceptance as she loves him for who he truly is.

This is such a cute story! I'm really excited to read the next one. The world in this is really fun and I love the Tea Dragons!! Little dragons that grow tea leaves on them that can be harvested to make a magical tea that allows you to see past memories! So neat! It was written super simple, so it's even more of a quick read because of this. Very well put together.

I loathe and detest most "modern fiction" - you know, the kind of crap where nothing really happens, only there's some kind of epiphany at the unclear "end". This is pretty much one of those books.

Every story centers around a dull, average-looking hipster whose observations about life are as annoying as whatever guy/girl he/she has a thing for. I'm a pretty peaceful person, but if I could beat each one of these characters to a living pulp, I would
Stuff Every Vegetarian Should Know by Katherine McGuire

I love this little book! It's full of tons of useful information. I'm trying to be a vegetarian, and this book managed to teach me a few new things I had never come across on the internet before. It's definitely something every vegetarian should have on their shelves. My only problem is that it’s almost “Stuff Every Vegan Should Know.” I like cheese and dairy. Don’t see why she shies away from them in her recipes and recommendations.
