I liked the details of the world, characters were funny and loveable. Will definitely read the next one. 💚

The plot was not entirely intriguing but I got through easily enough. It did pick up a little at the end although it was a little hard to follow. The writing style wasn’t my favourite (probably because it was first published in 1926).
Gatsby’s death at the end was quite confusing. I couldn’t really tell if he was dead or alive until Nick mentioned a funeral for him. Myrtle’s death did add the needed intrigue for me to finish the book.

I loved the first book and I’m so glad there’s more. The story was intriguing and the characters are still hilarious and lovable.
The only thing I couldn’t stand was Probity, she was so bloody annoying. Also switching Verve and Gaiety’s names at the end was a bit confusing. A mistake I guess? Other than that it was great! Love Rami and Hero’s relationship 😊.

This book seems intriguing. Maybe a little slow at the start. I might come back to it but I have other things I would rather read. 💚

I liked the way Olivia was portrayed in this book and how strong she was. Death was used quite interestingly and all the mystery about Gallant and the wall really intrigued me.  ðŸ’š

I will come back, was slow to get into it, maybe it was the writing style? I’ll probably finish it eventually though. 💚

I’m usually not into dystopian fantasy books but my friend got this for me and it was actually quite enjoyable. Will definitely continue the series. 💚

This was definitely different from what I usually read (bit more romance etc.) but I really enjoyed it. It took me two days to finish (if you put all the hours together it was probably just one day) and it really intrigued me. (I loved the descriptions of food and clothes) The ending was a tiny bit predictable but I really don’t care because the rest of it was good. A good read if you have time, if you’re relaxed, whenever.
Rhoda and Galen yessssssssss!!!
Overall it was a good book. 💚

I thought reading a classic would be something new and refreshing and… it definitely was. It explores racism and class in the 1930s and really intrigued me. Atticus was such an amazing and well written ‘father character’ and the storyline kept me interested the whole time.
Arthur coming in at the end and saving them and him smiling shyly and having Scout walk home with him was so bloody cute.
I am very glad I read this classic book. 💚

I was recommended this series by my friend and it seemed like so many people like it but honestly? I couldn’t get into it. It sat for awhile collecting dust before I gave it back. I really wanted to read some of his other stuff but I couldn’t get through this. No offence to the writer, he’s great. 💚
