My fear and hesitancy with reading Bitter was unfortunately my reality. This book removed the wonder that I originally had from Pet. This is not to say that I did not find relevancy in Bitter. Emezi’s writing is beautiful and poignant, and Bitter’s struggle to want better for the world, but not knowing how to do so is so relatable with modern times. While the beginning of the book started strong, the middle and end felt lackluster, and I struggled to get through it.

I loved Deanna, but this book hurt my heart a bit, it’s not where I thought this would end, but I also don’t hate it. I love a fictional woman who knows how to kill and I loved the journey that this er0tic thriller took me on.

what the actual hell, my god, what the actual hell, toxic is putting things mildly, but also, it must be nice to have a dad who cares. Toxic Love is gross, I gagged, laughed a bit, and I even cried. Splatter with plot (albeit unhinged plot).

I loved the first book in this series, but think I loved book two just a little bit more. I enjoyed Deanna's slow introduction to the real world/outside relationships while also still appreciating the confines as well as the struggles of 6E. This is definitely not a series to be read out of order or spaced in-between reads, and I am excited to continue with Deanna's journey. Cam girls got it rough.

Holy bejesus. Sinner was fantastic. It’s spicy. There’s catholic fourplay. The plot be plotting, and then I cried.

Wicked Little Rabbit is an absolute banger of a book, and without a doubt a new favorite on my shelf. This is an Alice in Wonderland reimagining with er0tic horror/thriller vibes. I loved the execution of this story, the "then" and "now" timeline and how sinister the "bad guy" actually is. The language surrounding trauma survival, and our survivors broken dialogue was also gut wrenching, yet powerful. I did not see the ending coming. This book will have me in a chokehold for a while and I think Wicked Little Rabbit deserves more than five stars.

Haunted by the Devil is an unhinged er0tic horror/love (more along the lines of obsession) story filled with gore, an insanely possessive MMC, killer tendencies, blood play and hand necklaces. This book has cult-y vibes, and a dark hero with an even darker past. It is entertainingly demented, so be sure to check triggers.
