holy fuck. i annotated the shit out of this book. IT WAS SO GOOD. so much happened i did not get enough time to process things. ITS SO CLEVER I LOVE THE PLOT TWIST AND MYSTERIES. i’m gonna go read the next book RIGHT NOW. and the fish sticks reference in the epilogue im gonna cry.

i really enjoyed the book! i don’t feel like it’s entirely fair to rate this before reading the rest of the series and i probably would have rated it lower if it was a stand alone. i was lacking connection to the characters but i hope the other books will bring me that.

made me tear up multiple times and actually full on cry once. the cry was happy tears though. this book was so heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time, in the best way possible. i just wanna continue reading about wallace and hugo forever. god the characters were lovable, in the way that it hurts to think they aren’t real.
