This was the most poorley written YA fantasy book ever, to the point is was hilarious. The female protagonist is such a Y/N written charecter and the author tries so hard to proove that the men are good that is just comes off as extremely misogynistic. It is hilarious to read the male inner monologue as it’s just a man going “I’m doing XYZ to this women but I LOVE WOMEN, I WOULD NEVER HURT WOMEN!” I would never have read this but Spotify recommended this audiobook to me and it was the only thing that would load in on a cross country train journey. fuck you spotify. no hate if u enjoyed this book 😘

Read as my first book club book! Really loves the world building and politics within this book and the characters grow to be loveable. I think it’s a little slow and confusing at the start as you are introduced to the characters and world but it picks up toward the middle. Predictable plot and could have been written better but a very enjoyable book!

I was told to read this after attending the twilight movie live in concert. I thought surely this cannot be as bad as movie. Oh was i wrong. This is the most poorly written wattpad Y/N book ever, it starts off as a funny entertaining read but the second hand embarrassment is unbearable towards the end. whatever they say, DON’T READ THIS BOOK
