Expected a little more given the hype and found it a bit inconsistent enjoyment wise.

Full of repetitive fluff and (for me) annoying catch phrases. Perhaps it's because I'm further ahead in my self kindness journey and I would have found this better reading it years ago?
Tuning out negative thoughts, self care acts, diet and exercise, healthy boundaries and relationships- the common topics in such books, so some useful info for those new to it but you'll have to wade through padding

This hit a slump when the character has been at the cabin for a few days and the random tangents and rambles just become the bulk of content. I found it dry and hard to follow from the middle of the book.

That said the first part was interesting I've not read a book like that
