This ended up being a really good read! He beginning was a bit slow and I struggled to get into it but once I finally did get immersed I ended up loving it. The spice was spot on, especially for a historical romance which I also happen to love. I don't feel like anything important was left out, so I say this can be read as a standalone. This a new to me author and I was impressed as far as a first read goes and I'm excited to read more in the future!

This was a good story! I enjoyed it, but as not as much as I really wanted to. The synopsis showed a lot of promise and I was very excited to read this. However, a lot of the names were hard to pronounce and it was difficult for me to keep everything together in my head. I think I had an off reading day, and just wasn't in the mood for this particular story however. It was very interesting though, and I had a lot of different elements that I haven't seen in a story before.

This was a really good book! I've really enjoyed reading the books in this trilogy, and I'm a little sad for them to be over. I'm not sure which book I enjoyed the most, they were all very enjoyable and great in their own way. This was an emotional, second chance romance that I thought was a really good ending to this trilogy. I enjoyed getting the chance to enjoy this series and I'm excited to read more from this author in the future!

This was a cute read! The lesson about Insects was interesting, and I think it would be helpful for younger children to see how different Insects help plants. The illustrations were very colorful and cute as well. I enjoyed reading this book and I look forward to reading it to my daughter when she gets older.

This was a really good read! This author never seems to disappoint and once again I'm proven right with this book. I wasn't expecting so much to be put in a book this short (less than 100 pages) and I was pleasantly surprised and impressed with what a good story it was. The end seemed to be left open to me, so I'm hoping there's more to come with these characters. I would love to visit them again!

This was an interesting read! The synopsis sounded really interesting to me so I thought I would give it try. While I enjoyed some aspects of this book, a lot of it fell short for me. I was expecting a more Disney Cinderella retelling and this felt like a mixture of different things to me. I enjoyed the steam punk aspect as well but I struggled a lot with actually getting through this one. Maybe it was just an off reading day but the story didn't grab me as much as the synopsis did. This is the first book I've read from this author and I hope to read more in the future!
