Um.. excuse me... WHO SAID THIS COULD BE THIS GOOD?!

I finished this in hours. I couldn't put it down. I'm obsessed with the whole thing. I giggled, squealed, clutched my pearls, cried, laughed, kicked my feet in giddiness, and yelled.

Chatacter growth? ✅️
Found Family? ✅️
Burn the world for her? ✅️
Top tier banter? ✅️✅️

If you want something that will put you through it, pick this up. It's about fantasy standalone and *chefs kiss*

I hate that I waited so long to read it and i cannot wait until the next book releases

I enjoyed this, but it was a bit slow for a while. I don't know how to describe how I felt reading this. Most of the time, I was uncomfortable, but I think you're supposed to feel that way. As the reader, for me anyway, the way Camille is feeling is distorted? Idk if that's the right word. It feels wrong like Camille feels when learning about the art. The whole time you're questioning what's truth, what's deception, and where is the damn real Night Swimming.

I will say I was so proud at the end of the book. I think if this book came with an accompanied song, it should be Labour by Paris Paloma.

What was this book?! Kingdom of the Wicked and Caraval had an adult baby. That's what this is. It gave banter, it gave giggles and giddiness and perfect sprinkles of spice. It gave high stakes and constant action. It gave EVERYTHING you'd want in a fantasy romance. Blackwell may have made his way onto my book beau list because good sir, destroy the universe for me please.

I am OBSESSED with this story and I'm so sad it's over. I want to just read it again.

For a book I thought would make me possibly cry, I laughed a ton. Charlotte is funny in the awkward kind of way that's so relatable. Noah is the perfect broken man you fall for because "you can fix him."

I loved both character arcs and even though they both dealt with something tragic/traumatic, how they handled it was completely different. They balanced each other out and while the love was a little fast for my taste, it still worked with the story.

I couldn't put it down and if you're looking for a book that makes you feel a lot of things at once, pick this one up!
