This series keeps me coming back every time. The spice, romance, and character relationships are always great! My one qualm with all the books in the series is that the plot comes second behind these things (which I’m okay with). Buuuuut if you’re going to do that, you need a simple plot because this plot is still compelling and complex and usually comes to a climax way to quickly without enough time to really flesh it out and get all the readers questions answered.

Take this with a grain of salt because I might’ve just not been in the right mood to read this book but it was my
Book clubs pick so I had to and…. I was so bored 😭 I think maybe reading it physically would’ve been better than the audio? I don’t know but I feel bad.

This series and characters just truly pull at the heart strings. I cried so much reading this but I also laughed and swooned. I hated their pet names for eachother and that’s the only reason this isn’t 5 stars lol

This was a fun easy read. Not a masterpiece by any means but a good reading slump book for sure!

This was so good 😭 Equally heart breaking and heartwarming with the most amazing cast of characters. I love a small town setting and nobody does it like Backman, truly.
