This is a heartbreaking story. I found myself truly invested in what happens to both Juana and Adelaide and the emotional hardships along the way. Overall I enjoyed the pacing of this story - I wish a few stories were more built out (I.e Sebastian) but would highly recommend.
This book completely exceeded my expectations. So beautiful, heartbreaking and different than what I expected. I purposely read slowly because I didn’t want it to end. Evelyn’s story and the people who surrounded her had me completely invested.
