I loved everything about this debut romantasy novel!! It was a VERY slow burn though so I did find myself getting frustrated and bored at times, with that being said tho, I absolutely loved this story! It was beautiful written and I loved the magic system! The world building and magic system was easy for me to follow along with which is what usually makes me not reach for fantasy but I’m so glad I read this one because I loved it! 

I definitely hope there’s a second book!

Okay I enjoyed this so much more than I thought I would!! But I mean, I’ve loved every book so far that I’ve read from P Doug….. so I didn’t think I’d not enjoy this one 🤭 

I do love me some taboo romances and I love a good age gap (not my favorite trope but I do enjoy it), so no surprise that this was a spicy af story! And I lovedddddd that it was with her ex boyfriends dad 😤😭 

All in all, it was a solid 4⭐️ for me 🩷

Oh my gosh this book was absolutely amazing!!! I cannot WAIT for book 2 to be released!!! 

The tension was palpable between Rune and Gideon! Their relationship was fake since they both had ulterior motives from the beginning, but you could see that the feelings they shared became so real. 

I absolutely loved the magic system used in this book too. The world building was also easy to follow. 

Didn’t care too much for the love triangle aspect BUT I did love all 3 characters separately in their own way! 

Will definitely be preordering book 2!!

Ehhhh I mean it was okay….. 

I definitely enjoyed IEWU a lot more than this book. I felt like this sequel was kind of…. unnecessary. 

There was like no conflict between Lily and Atlas. I get that Lily’s conflict was Ryle, and Atlas’s was

finding some random long lost brother,

but shouldn’t there be SOME type of conflict between to two MAIN character love interests?? I love a HEA as much as the next person, but the whole dang book???? Beginning? HEA. Middle? HEA. The ending? Still an HEA 🙄 like cmon give me some drama.

Also Ryle is still trash. 👎🏻
