Ehhhh I mean it was okay…..

I definitely enjoyed IEWU a lot more than this book. I felt like this sequel was kind of…. unnecessary.

There was like no conflict between Lily and Atlas. I get that Lily’s conflict was Ryle, and Atlas’s was
finding some random long lost brother,
but shouldn’t there be SOME type of conflict between to two MAIN character love interests?? I love a HEA as much as the next person, but the whole dang book???? Beginning? HEA. Middle? HEA. The ending? Still an HEA 🙄 like cmon give me some drama.

Also Ryle is still trash. 👎🏻

It was interesting enough for me to finish, but honestly I don’t remember anything about what happened other than the twist at the end 😂 the twist was wild tho!!

Wow. This book was absolutely amazing. I don’t think I was emotionally prepared for this book because I started reading it on audio while I was at work and almost started crying 😭

I have never had a book hit me so hard in my privilege. As a white person, I will NEVER EVER know what it’s like to be black. I will never know what it’s like to be targeted by those with badges who are supposed to protect us. This book might be fiction, but it was very real with what has happened and is happening in our very real world. Doing the right thing will always be worth it, even if it seems like it’s not.

The Perfect Nanny: A Single Dad Romance by D. Lilac

Do NOT let this cute lil cover fool you….. this book had HEAT 🥵🥵

Jade is finishing up a music tour and doesn’t know what she’ll be doing next, so her manager finds her job in the UK nannying for a former country rockstar (unbeknownst to her) while also helping him write new music for the label.
Rhys is a single dad raising a 16 yo and 7 yo. He’s still in a way hung up on his ex wife who chose addiction over their family. Little does he know, he’ll soon start opening up his heart again…

This book was EVERYTHING!! Jade was so relatable in many ways. She was mouthy, sassy, rolled her eyes way too much, and I loved her overall attitude!! She was so funny but she also cared so much about Rhys’s girls and built such a strong relationship with them. I loved Rhys’s character development and protective he was of all 3 of his girls!

I highly recommend omg

**The author provided this ARC copy to a FW based bookclub I’m in. All thoughts and opinions are my own 💜 Thank you so much!!

Never did I think I’d enjoy a cowboy romance but HOT DAMN the cowboys in Meadowlark are of a different breed!!!! 😩😤

This book is an absolute masterpiece and I will not accept any incorrect opinions on this 😤😤

I absolutely loved the ADHD rep in this book!!! As someone who struggles with ADHD (but takes medication now for it) I completely related to Emmy. Emmy and Teddy together 😍😍😍 Teddy is the bff we ALL need!!!!!
OMGGGGGGG LUKEEEEEEEEEEE BROOKKSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop it the way he cared so much about Emmy and the way they’d each notice little things about each other I ate it TF UP!!!!!
