i really wanted to like this book. when i heard the words “queer,” “bigfoot,” and “dating show,” in the same sentence, i was sold. unfortunately the only thing this book is really about is a dating show, with three vapid social media influencers and one bisexual who’s “not like other girls.” she so different she doesn’t even have a glamsta-pics (sp? i listened to the audiobook LMAO) account. it felt like this book was trying to do too many things at once, and i almost wish it had been longer so that it could have explored some of it more. maybe if i didn’t go in to this thinking that someone was going to fall in gay love with bigfoot i would have liked it more. i think the description of the book that is on goodreads is a better short story than the book it’s supposed to be summarizing, you can just read that and then move on lmao.
