Grown is an absolute masterpiece! As I was reading this it had me thinking back to my own high school experience and how easy it would’ve been to fall victim to this. I totally understand where Enchanted was coming from and why she made the decisions she did. I ended up reading it in one day because I just couldn’t put it down. Riveting!

This was such a wonderful exploration of grief. The story was moving and the artwork was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend it.

I really liked this but I do feel like they aged down the character. Lunella read more like a middle schooler than a 9 year old to me and the way her school was described (like when her mom said to come home after the last class period) sounded more like middle school. Overall, a super fun story that I think younger kids would love.

This was so much fun! It gave me major Baby Sitters Club vibes so if you enjoy that series you’ll love this too.
