I listened to the audiobook. Roald Dahls children books are unlike any other children books and I wish I had read them when I was younger!

"Development for whom, and at whose cost?"

Living in mega cities, we don't ask this question this question as often as we should. This book, originally written in 1994, is still painfully relevant. If you've been following the work that Sonam Wangchuk has been doing in Ladakh, you will get a small idea of what an answer to this question looks like.

This book is mandatory reading for every Indian!

One of a kind! I thought this was a graphic novel but categorising it as a graphic novel would be a disservice to this book. I could not put it down once I started and multiple times, I stopped and got lost in thoughts after reading a particular page or part of the book. If you’re an adult and you’re interested in the history of science, I can’t recommend this book strongly enough!
